DelargeWe can build your engine to the standard or to a competition specification. We can build or recondition your engine so it conforms to VSCC standards/specifications.

We have also designed and manufactured parts for Ford cars including shock Vauxhall 1924 14absorbers, IOE alloy cylinder head and close ratio gear sets.

We offer rebuilds on axles, steering boxes and gearboxes. We can repair or refurbish any mechanical component.

This engine is the same as the competition IOE Riley engine (spec above) but it has twin SU carburettors and a MAG ignition.

We have two types of close ratio gears available for the Ford Model A Gearbox

Ideal for Trial Cars and Sprint Events
All gears have been made from EN36 steel, case hardened and run on needle bearings.

3rd 1 to 1

We can build speedsters to your own specification and or design. Or why not have one like our demonstrator car?

Our Speedster is based on a 1929 Model A, and is fitted with a drop 4” frame. It has an aluminium and steel construction (no fibre glass). It is fitted with our Belcher Engineering Ltd ‘GEM power engine’ (specification listed above), Belcher Engineering Ltd Close ratio gears and Belcher Engineering Ltd shock absorbers.

This car is not for the faint hearted!!
